  1. First…I write for myself….then I write for my wife…then my extended family members…then my friends…and if the literary work is worth it…I send it out on the seas of mankind (Amazon.com) for them to read.

Yes, there is satisfaction in such endeavor. It’s art. It does not always have to have a price tag on it. What I mean by that is I’m not in this for the money. If…(and that’s a big IF), if it ever became remunerative enough to make a living, super. But if it NEVER does…fine and well…I’m already happy!

    1. I’ve had brief (and unpleasant) chats with folks who say that if you’re not writing for money you’re wasting your time. At first I always thought they were kidding. Turns out there’s a large group of people who claim they won’t lift a finger if there’s not a paycheck attached.

Upsets me just thinking about it, so I’ll stop.

I write because I can’t NOT write. I may as well get good at it so I can really love it.

  2. I write mostly… because there are people living in my head, and their stories happen inside my head, and I feel like I need to write these stories down and share them with whoever wants to read them!
